This post is all about my love for reading. I've always loved to read from a young age. My mom is an avid reader and I get my love of reading from her.I have a memory of being jealous of my brother because he got to learn how to read first. We're twins but we were in different classes and his started before mine did. It's funny to look back on that memory because he doesn't read books, I know the horror! Though I have tried to get him into reading. My attempts have failed.
Anyway, I have loved books for as long as I can remember. Though there are a few that stick in my mind as my favorites growing up. One of my favorites was the Nancy Drew books. I loved those as well as the boxcar children mysteries. I also loved the babysitters club books. I also remember reading a lot of R.L. Stines books. Of course, I have to include Harry Potter as well.
Reading has been a huge part of my life. No matter what was going on in my life I knew I could open a book and go on an adventure. Whether it was solving a crime with Nancy Drew to exploring Hogwarts with Harry. Reading has always been there.
You guys should check out the amazing Carrie Ann's book: Brooding YA Hero: Becoming the Main Character (Almost) as Awesome as Me! You won't regret it! Just try to keep the swooning to a minimal. ;)
